Meet Nina, the Brain Behind the New Colors of USEFULL
Nina tell us a little bit about yourself. Where do you go to school? What is your role at USEFULL?
Hi everyone, I am Nina. I am a recent graduate from Boston University, where I majored in Advertising! Now I am working as a creative marketing intern at USEFULL, where I help to create marketing materials and brainstorm ideas.
How has quarantine been for you?
It has taken me some time to adjust for sure. I have never stayed at home for this long! I love all kinds of outdoor activities like traveling, hiking, and roller coasters🎢 so I am rarely at home. However, now I am more used to it and enjoy my time at home. I find it pleasant to spend time by myself. I have learned to enjoy reading, watching movies, and cooking. Quarantine makes me cherish this time with my friends and family more.
Why did you decide to join USEFULL?
I was first attracted by USEFULL’s ideas behind the reusable cup service. They provide a simple and effective solution to reducing plastic and waste. I love working for a business that does good in the world. A bonus is that I love the team. I have been working with Alison, Derek, Ellie, and the other interns for a couple of months now. They are all so nice and lovely.
What is one project you are proud of?
I helped to create marketing materials for rebranding, including updating the brand identity, building the brand book, creating the new color scheme for USEFULL, and creating some social posts. I take pride in being a part of the rebranding project, I loved helping bring to life both the inner and outer core values of USEFULL.
What’s a fun fact about you?
I am a crazy dog person! I have three dogs in my house back in China. One is a Samoyed, the other two are mixed. I miss my boys so much! I also volunteered in an NGO, helping to seek homes for stray animals.
What are your plans this summer?
To continue getting into working out! And to learn how to draw more illustrations.
Welcome to the team Nina! we are so lucky to have you.
