Meet Kelsey Shakin, Coffee Cup Collective’s newest team member and Operations Coordinator. You’ll see her doing everything from collecting those dirty cups, making sure there’s always a clean cup ready for you when you’re ready for your coffee, and posting to social media.
Kelsey just graduated from Roger Williams University with a B.S. in Marine Biology. While in college, she was the Captain of the Varsity Sailing Team, which taught her a lot about managing a team and ensuring that operations go as planned. Kelsey and Alison bonded
over their love of the ocean and their constant frustration with seeing trash, specifically plastics, polluting our most sacred spaces.
Kelsey joined the Coffee Cup Collective because she believes “it is the next step in the direction of a waste free Boston”. She knows that Coffee Cup Collective’s business model will change the way the to-go beverage industry operates and the way people view single-use disposables.
We are so excited to have Kelsey on our team as we help Boston, and beyond, conquer the goal of zero waste.
